FRECON welcomes Mathias Bruun Christensen to our team
Mathias is a pensive and structured fighter with a master’s degree in engineering focused on mechanical design. He is crazy about everything mechanical and programable and has even taken part in developing a big industrial hoisting drone.
Fighter, focus, forward
But that is not all there is to Mathias. When he steps out of the engineer-suit, he jumps right into his super bicycle outfit and steps on it. He is a true cyclist who takes part in races on a high level and has even won several top 5 placements in smaller national races. Well done Mathias!
“When I am cycling my thoughts pause and I push my body to the limit. It is a great feeling of focus, adrenalin and to lose track of time.” he explains.
And the bicycle goes everywhere with him – even on vacations. He once even rode the bicycle 260 km in a single day to arrive at a vacation destination…

Loosing track of time while making results
His ability to fight, focus and cross the finish line leaves traces all the way into his work, where he analyses and loves seeing results.
“When I work, I shut everything else out and all of the sudden three hours has passed. It just happens, kind of like on the bicycle. And it is just great to see results.” he explains.
His fighter mentality and focus has benefitted him greatly in a previous job, where he took part in developing a big industrial hoisting drone. Among other things he researched how to optimize the legs and arms of the drone through calculations and tests.
At FRECON Mathias is already deeply immersed in ANSYS and calculations. We know him as a modest, reflective and skilled colleague with a talent for listening.
