Frecon strengthens its board

The engineering firm FRECON constantly focuses on the company’s strategy and business opportunities. As part of the process to consolidate the positive development, the company now strengthens its Board of Directors.

Peter Bager, who has solid experience with business development and Board work, joins the Board, which also includes FRECON’s two owners Leif Christoffersen and Frederik Rytter, the company’s CEO, Bo Birkemose, and Lawyer Per Christensen from HjulmandKaptain.

Fresh blood
Chairman of the Board, Leif Christoffersen, is looking forward to working with Peter Bager and says: “Peter has broad experience and will look at our business with fresh eyes. It is always healthy with new ideas, so we can continue FRECON’s development, including our increased international focus. At the same time it will be of value to our CEO Bo Birkemose to have someone to exchange ideas with.

Many exciting opportunities
Peter Bager comes with a solid background in business development, internationalisation and digital strategies from many years of work as a professional board member in a wide range of companies and in several leading positions. “I see many interesting opportunities at FRECON; a company that is brimming with talent,” says Peter Bager. “I look forward to working on the further development of the company in close collaboration with owners, management and employees.”

Exciting steps
The increased professionalisation of FRECON’s Board of Directors is the latest step in the company’s ongoing development. CEO Bo Birkemose and Sales Manager Claus Moelgaard Jensen were appointed at an earlier stage of the process. “We must make sure we always have the very best people in our management team, so we are ready to exploit the opportunities in the market. We want to create the best possible foundation for that,” says Leif Christoffersen. “We have taken some exciting steps with the opening of an office in Russia and several local offices around Denmark. We look forward to the next step.”
