225,000 hours of experience in the wind industry pave the way collaboration with “Mr. Windpower”
Experienced people as well as young, enthuastic employees greet you at the engineering house FRECON in Horsens. The 30 employees have worked together on mechanical construction and calculations for the wind industry for more than 225,000 hours and have developed solutions for all leading manufacturers around the world over the last 19 years.

Upon the recommendation of several of these manufacturers and based on the company’s solid experience, FRECON has started collaborating with “Mr. Windpower”, Henrik Stiesdal, about several innovative projects. Examples are Stiesdal’s new, industrialised offshore wind turbine foundations and a project involving thermal energy storage. Stiesdal is the former Chief Technology Officer at Siemens Wind Power and also collaborates with companies like Siemens Gamesa, innogy and Shell.
